Cancelling an Appointment
If for any reason you are unable to come to the office on your appointment, you must call us 24 hours in advance to reprogram your appointment. This way you let us call another patient to fill in your empty space.
Serial appointments
These serial appointments are an important part of the Orthodontic Treatment. Generally, these appointments are from 4 to 8 weeks apart to make the necessary adjustments to the braces, as well as to evaluate the treatment’s progress. During this time, you must go to the office when you have your appointment, you must follow the instructions as well as keeping your teeth clean at all times and you must eat properly. Your full compliance will show on the quality of the results and the treatment time that you may have. It is important that you visit your general Dentist every 6 months. When we finish the Orthodontic treatment and fixed appliances have been removed, you will get retainers. These retainers should be used to ensure that your teeth remain in their new places where we have put them and that the teeth, bone and muscles adapt to this new occlusion.
Loose brackets or broken appliances.
It is very important to let us know if something is broken or loose, to program a special appointment and fix the problem, do not wait until you next appointment, because these issues may make your treatment time longer.
